Reader-friend,
It has been a minute. I feel like I don’t deserve your attention since it’s been awhile since I shot you a line.
My apologies. But I have news.
Right now I just finished TJ Klune’s newest book, The Bones Beneath My Skin that comes out in February. And it’s fantastic.
But here’s the news: I AM INTERVIEWING TJ KLUNE about his book for my (tiny, so tiny) YouTube channel.
It’s happening in a couple of weeks. My buddy
from the Arc Party hooked me up (and you should absolutely follow him).So big news. Me and TJ Klune. Best friends.
I’ll send you the interview as soon as I can. If there are questions you want me to ask—just slap reply and I’ll do my best.
A Series I Can’t Put Down
I am burning through Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
I finished books 1 and 2 and I’m on 3. Seven of them are out on Amazon publishing and I’m not kidding—Matt, you gotta writer faster my dude.
The quick and dirty: a guy trapped in a televised dungeon with his ex-girlfriend’s cat Princess Donut. Hysterics ensue. The book is a can of Pringles. I can’t just turn one page. Get this book in your brain.
Right now I’m playing Dragon Age: Veilguard and it’s scratching that dungeon itch.
I’m reading a ton of AI stuff for my job. Not the most thrilling stuff.
I’ve started reading a stack of books in the morning, but more on that later. Non-fiction stuff. Contemplative stuff. Video will follow.
Speaking of Video
I did a video on how to read three chapters a day/thirty minutes/one short story.
If you would, I know this is a big ask, if you could like it and follow it if you haven’t, I’d appreciate it. I’m going “all in” on video as I prepare to be a published author in September.
Thanks.
Hope you are turning pages.
